MDMC Facilities & Packages

MDMC has a wide range of packages and tools for data mining including:

Enterprise-wide solutions. We have access to several large enterprise-wide data mining packages including the SAS Enterprise Miner and the IBM Intelligent Miner. These tools integrate readily with data warehousing and knowledge management environments to create a powerful enterprise-wide solution for increasing business intelligence.
Advanced hardware. MDMC has access to high-speed parallel clusters, and an array of architectures running several operating systems.
Industry standards. We have licenses for well-known data mining and machine-learning packages like CART/MARS and Ross Quinlan's C5.0, standard platforms like MathSoft's MATLAB with its full complement of extensions, and common but powerful business software like Microsoft Excel and Access.
In-house software. MDMC has developed several packages and techniques that consistently outperform the industry standards. The most prominent packages (CaMML, dtree, and snob) are described on our software page. They are also available for download under an academic license, and we offer industry licenses.
